Welcome to the Smoke-Free Policy training. Today you will learn about health risks associated with tobacco/vape use for adults, youth and other high-risk populations. You will also learn about e-cigarettes (vaping), secondhand smoke, the Smoke-Free Arizona Act and the Peoria City Code. This is a training for City of Peoria Park Rangers and other Parks and Recreation staff.

Objectives:
1. Participants will understand the prevalence of tobacco/nicotine users in the general and high-risk populations.
2. Participants will learn about the adverse health effects and dangers of secondhand smoke, especially in minors.
3. Participants will learn about the environmental impact of tobacco/nicotine products.
4. Participants will learn about the City of Peoria Parks and Recreation Departments city code.
5. Participants will learn how to address and enforce the Peoria City Code.
